2024 Season Recap
Bob Kawa, SDGA President: "Going into my initial year as SDGA President I was hoping for a good year for our association. However I was wrong. It wasn't a good year it was a great year! The quality of our events was exceptional. It reflects on the great cooperation from the clubs that hosted our events , the professionalism of both the NYSGA and the CNYPGA and the volunteers who gave generously of their time to continue our commitment to promoting outstanding golf experiences for our members. I would also like to point out the success we achieved in a number of team events. A terrific performance and a near miss by our junior golfers in the Williamson Cup and victories in both the Mitchell and Sovik Cups capped another great year for the SDGA. My congratulations and thanks to everyone who made this a memorable year!"

Representing the SDGA were junior players Jackson Saroney, Porter Matt, Mitchell Archer and Dan Young. The team finished 2nd out of the ten regional golf associations competing. Mitchell Archer finished 5th and Porter Matt finished tied for 6th in the individual competitions.
